PS- The original album cover was replaced when Dream On was re-released in 1976 and became a hit. A solid debut but things would only get better.at least for a few years. Highlights for me are Make It (highly underrated and should be played live more), Dream On (no matter how much this song is played it still resonates with me), One Way Street (there's a smokin' live version from 1994 on the Made In America Walmart EP/GH 73-88), Mama Kin (a classic), Movin Out (even better live- great guitar work too), and Walkin The Dog (smokin' live version on Pandoras Box). I wish they would release the full WBCN concert from their first tour as featured on Live Bootleg. They did have a sort of innocence on this record that the lost rather quickly. I know their past few albums have been scary so we will motor during the end and through all the comps as well.ĭespite Tyler's voicer being different on ths debut (he was nervous), they have their sound down pretty down pat. I've been a fan since 1988 when I saw the videos from Permanent Vacation. I needed an easy album by album thread so I chose Aerosmith.
